Maîtres du Temps  – Chapter One

Featuring an original combination of complications, the first timepiece from Maîtres du Temps is the work of Christophe Claret and Peter Speake-Marin.

This model boasts a tourbillon, a mono-pushpiece chronograph, a retrograde date, a retrograde second time zone and two distinctive rollers, one at 6 o’clock and the other at 12, indicating respectively the days of the week and the phases of the moon.

Armin Strom - One Week Manufacturer Calibre ARM09

Armin Strom – One Week Manufacturer Calibre ARM09

Presented for the first time last November, the ARM09 calibre is manufactured 100% in-house and is a real mechanical treasure trove. No fewer than 146 components were needed to create this hand-wound movement with its exceptional 7-day power reserve.

The well-informed connoisseur will also appreciate the crown wheels that can be seen turning on the dial side, an innovation that presents a truly captivating spectacle!

Watch enthusiasts, however, will have to wait until Baselworld 2010 before they can admire the models of the new One Week collection that house this sumptuous movement.
