Etro Womens Collection 2011 with Paisley
Etro is an Italian fashion house and manufacturer of fabrics, furnishings and fragrances. More recently it has added women’s and men’s collections.
It was founded in 1968 by Gimmo Etro and derives from Gimmo’s love of culture and beauty.
The Paisley motif first appeared in the Etro collections in 1981 has become a symbol of the Etro brand.
It is still a family business, with menswear headed since 1990 by Kean Etro, while his sister, Veronica, directs womenswear. Gimmo’s eldest son, Jacopo, is in charge of the textile division, and brother Ippolito handles the company finances from its headquarters in Milan.
