Blenheim Palace, one of Britain’s finest Palace’s, has introduced a range of new initiatives for 2012, reinforcing its status as one of Britain’s ultimate wedding venues.
A new agreement with Searcys, the upscale catering and events company ensures the World Heritage Site Palace provides a truly opulent setting for weddings – perfect for wedding parties keen to toast the happy couple’s nuptials in style.
Should the couple wish to marry at the Palace, they have a choice of two locations; The Marlborough Room, originally the Palace kitchen, with a stunning double vaulted ceiling and huge fireplace, can accommodate up to 120 wedding guests. While, the Orangery’s on-site civil wedding ceremony license, means a larger congregation of up to 250 guests can easily be achieved.
Enviably set in 2,000 acres of landscaped ‘Capability’ Brown gardens and grounds, Blenheim Palace is one of the most beautiful and romantic backdrops. With the great lake in the background, a boating theme can add a spectacular showcase – be it with Venetian Gondolas, or quintessentially English rowing boats. The sky is the limit!
